At Exclusive Barber Academy, we offer comprehensive training that gives you the knowledge and abilities necessary to succeed as a barber, whether you decide to work for a reputable business or launch your own business.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
In order to enable people who already hold a cosmetology operator license in the State of Texas to expand their skill set and provide expert barbering services, we have developed a special 300-hour course called Cosmetology Crossover. The goal of this extensive program is to provide a well-rounded education by incorporating both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Throughout the course, students will delve into a variety of intriguing topics, including the rich history of barbering, the art of shaving, precise men’s haircutting and tapering techniques, the artistry of beard and moustache trimming and design, as well as an in-depth examination of hair color application. As we take you on this transforming journey, we’ll provide you the skills you need to succeed in the fast-paced world of barbering.
COURSE GOALS
The aim of this course is to provide cosmetologists with the knowledge and skills necessary to expand their services to include expert barbering techniques. Through this 300-hour program, students will gain an understanding of the history of barbering, learn precise men’s haircutting and tapering techniques, master the art of shaving, gain expertise in beard and mustache trimming and design, and develop proficiency in hair coloring application. By the end of the course, students will have a well-rounded education that prepares them for success in the fast-paced world of barbering.
INSTRUCTIONAL METHODS
To achieve the course goals, the we utilize a variety of instructional methods. Students will have access to theoretical knowledge through classroom lectures, discussions, and presentations. They will also have hands-on practice in a salon setting where they can apply the techniques they have learned in a practical setting. The program will also provide opportunities for students to observe experienced barbers and colorists in action. In addition, students will have access to digital resources, such as online videos and tutorials, to supplement their learning. Finally, regular assessments, feedback, and evaluations will be provided to ensure that each student is mastering the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the program.
