EXCLUSIVE BARBER PROGRAM
At Exclusive Barber Academy, we offer comprehensive training that gives you the knowledge and abilities necessary to succeed as a barber, whether you decide to work for a reputable business or launch your own business.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
The 1000 clock hour Class A Barber Program is divided into two parts: theory training that includes orientation (250 hours) and practical services training (750 hours). Students attend theory classes four days a week, except Saturdays, with each session lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes. Theory is taught on a modular basis to allow weekly start dates as determined by the school. The academic year for this course is 900 clock hours.
COURSE GOALS
To provide a comprehensive Barber program that’s designed to equip aspiring professionals to hone their artistic craft as well as entrepreneur skills so that they can excel in their barbering careers. Our program blends traditional techniques with the latest industry trends, giving students the full hands-on experience that enables them to ace their state licensure exam required by the State of Texas
INSTRUCTIONAL METHODS
We provide clock hour education designed to equip aspiring barbers with the skills they need for success in state exams, graduation, and entry-level job proficiency. Our curriculum focuses on teaching students a range of creative and career-oriented activities. Through a dynamic blend of lectures, hands-on demonstrations, and active student participation, we cover a wide range of subjects to ensure a well-rounded education. This 10% focuses on mastering essential barbering techniques, safety and sanitation practices, and developing a firm grasp of the state laws and regulations governing the profession.
